How to get here in Atimonan: From Manila, the town is accessible by land transportation. You can ride from Cubao, Sampaloc or Pasay via JAM, JAC LINER, Green Star, etc. take Gumaca, Tagkawayan, Calauag and asked to be drop at De Gradcia Beach, Atimonan. You can also take Lucena and ride another bus at the Grand Central Terminal to the Venue. DE GRACIA BEACH RESORT is in Brgy. Angeles and about 10 minutes from the town proper and is known in the area. It also has a large sign that you will not miss on the LEFT SIDE of the hi-way.
Travel time From Manila to Atimonan is approximately 4 hours.

RATIONALE:
Brotherhood of Destiny, Inc. (BROOD) will be five(5) years as an organization on March 25, 2007. During this 5-year existence the organization had been very supportive of various organizations among them are the Youth for Sustainable Development Assembly (YSDA), Alyansa Tigil Mina (ATM), Stop Child Poverty International, Global Youth Action Network and others.
The organization had also been involved in campaigns which promoted the Millennium Development Goals #1: Eradication of Extreme Poverty through its main campaign Voices Against Poverty; MDG #4,5, and 6 through its member organization Teatro Sambisig who advocated Reproductive Health; MDG #7 through participating in YSDA activities such as Kamp Kalikasa, Green Lifestyle education, maintenance of the YSDA website and others; MDG #8 through its partnership with Nabuur Foundation for providing global access to resources to remote communities.
BROOD had also been involve in a first ever Video-Conference series to bridge the differences and promote peace and understanding between Luzon and Mindanao through Peace Tech, and had been a partner for the event which had been supported by Assisi Foundation, Youth Aid, AusAID, UNICEP and Mirriam Peace among others.
With this in
mind and with the increasing commitment of the organization it is vital to hold
a National Congress which will gather members of the organization into a 3-4
day event to assess and discuss future plans of BROOD, as well as to equip them
with necessary skills which will enable them to serve the purpose of the
organization better.

- Revitalized and trained members on advocacy skills
- Strengthened membership
- Better ability of the organization to participate in partnership organizations concerns which includes environment, youth, social issues and others.
